The Challenge: Find a way to interest and engage English speaking audiences in the United Kingdom with Netflix’s various foreign language shows. Like Squid Game, La Casa de las Flores, Unorthodox, Devilman Crybaby, La Casa de Papel, etc.
The Idea: Recognizing that foreign shows can seem alienating and inaccessible to this demographic, we decided to tackle the issue by relating gripping, edge-of-your-seat moments in famous fore. In the last 10 years, the UK has seen increased political division, strife, and discourse. From the controversies of Prime Minister Boris Johnson to the Royal Family’s mistreatment of Megan Markle, it’s safe to say the British deserve a break from the hectic news cycle and a new way to experience TV.
